This past weekend, they made a huge mistake.   They called us “weed worshipers”.

Just to make things perfectly clear.  Here, at The Church of Weeds, we don’t worship weeds, we simply appreciate them – and the divine within them.

And we giggle.  Because so many people worship a God, that they don’t appreciate.

“Think about this, in the Old Testament, God called himself, “I am.”    Maybe that means something.   I suspect that it does, in part because when Jesus said, “I am”, they went to STONE HIM to death.”

Now think about this.   Could what I am about to say be taking the Lord’s name in vain?

“I am bored.” “I am a victim.” “I am not worthy.” “I am bad.” “I am no good.”

Think about this…  just for a moment.

You are “created in the image of God”.     And, ”The kingdom of God is within.”

And you dare not appreciate every moment of life you are?

And you dare not appreciate all living things?  You dare to “I am” yourself in a bad way?

My elders taught me that “the spirit moves within all”.   They taught me that what I needed for healing and sustaining the body is always close to me, close to home, and all I needed to do was to learn how to use is, be thankful and appreciate “all that is”.

Do we at the Church of Weeds worship weeds?  Nope.

All we do is appreciate them, and the spirit that moves within all things.

Why not?  It sure beats beating yourself up, taking the name of God in vain!

Think about it.  Anyone can learn to grow and harvest Edible Weeds.  If you do that, you’ll discover how well you are divinely provided for.      You will also be healthier, naturally.

So is the Church of Weeds real?  You betcha.

It saves souls, minds, and bodies from living lives of delusion, confusion, and stress.   It gets people back in touch with the earth.  And it gives the intelligent folks a good laugh once in a while.

From the pulpit of the Great Allegheny Passage, you could hear brother Brian Burdock yelling from the top of his lungs, “Don’t Drink The Cruel Aid!”

“Americans are poisoning their kids with high fructose corn syrup drinks every day, because it tastes good and little Billy wants MORE AND MORE of it.   Cruel Aids and Joosey Juices are neurotoxins.  They will destroy your liver and make your kids fat like turkeys!”

REPENT!  Change your ways and turn back to the holy ways of WEEDS!

“Could this by why so many kids are on Riddle-lyn and have ADHD?  Could the silly sweet corn syrup drinks we are giving them all day long be killing them?”

Anyhoo….  Look at what is in your Joosie Juice and Cruel Aid, and parents, if you love your kids, really love your kids like we love our weeds….

“Brothers and Sisters, STOP giving your children chemical drinks, sweetened with high fructose corn syrup, and give your kids the gift of life!  Salvation!  Give them Healthy Weed Tea To Drink!”

Want to make something Sour? Make some Sumach-aide or Wood Sorrel-aide! Just crush the red berries of the Sumach or the whole wood sorrel plant into some room temperature water, let sit for a few hours, strain and chill.

Want to make some minty and sweet tea? Make some nice peppermint or spearmint tea!  Take some fresh or dried leaves, put them in a cup, add hot water and cover for 10 min.  Serve hot or cold.

Want a real treat? Try some Spicebush tea!

And remember, THE GOVERNMENT does not have your best wishes in mind.  Think about this, the poor kiddos families actually get WIC checks, that PAY for high fructose Cruel Aids and Juicy Juices.

Are they trying to kill our kiddos and make them obese nutjobs?  Or are they just trying to turn us all into fat happy sheeple?

Think about it, and remember…

“Weeds are Good!  Eat weeds and live!”

Today’s lesson is, “Keep Holy the Weed Walk Day”.    It is a pure message, it is a simple message, it is a message of hope, peace and prosperity.

We Keep Holy the Weed Walk Day, because The Weed Walk Day is a day of hope. Hope because we can notice the weeds we need to heal ourselves and our families always grow close to our huts and our homes.  We can’t help but notice we are provided for.  I am reminded of my Great Aunt Violet, when it comes to keeping holy the Weed Walk day.

Great Aunt Violet, she was a life long drinker, hitting the hooch pretty hard day after day, ignoring the ways of the mother church.

As Great Aunt Violet got up in years, she began to get liver disease from all that hooch drinking, then one day it happened, she saw the light!  Great Aunt Violet changed her ways, she repented, and she noticed everything she needed to heal herself grew outside her bedroom window.

Which brings me to point number 2.  Keep the Weed Walk Day Holy, because it is a day of PEACE. Great Aunt Violet peeked out her window, after ignoring the Ways of Weeds for years, and saw a field of Wild Violets outside.  Remembering the ways of her Mother, and herbalist and natural healer, Great Aunt Violet felt a wave of peace flow all over her, when she remembered that Wild Violets are the best plant to help her rebuild her liver.

I’m here to tell you today, that Great Aunt Violet started eating those violets every day, and taking Weed Walks around her yard, and she lived another 35 years, eating weeds, and making her own medicine from them.

Great Aunt Violet saved several hundred dollars a month once she began to Keep The Weed Walk Holy.  She stopped taking prescription poisons.  She stopped buying inbred crops to eat at the local store.  She stopped running around all night drinking and she experienced DEEP PROSPERITY, that comes only from Keeping the Weed Walk Day Holy.

Listen friends, Great Aunt Violet saved hundreds of dollars every month, doing what we just shared.  That opened the door for health, healing and prosperity for her and for her family.   She also started sharing the message, the TRUTH about The Weed Walk  with the next generation, including me and my friends.

A tiny little Weed Walk every day, and joining together with like minded Weed Eaters on The Weed Walk day for fellowship, fun and weeds is all it takes.   The question is, will you actually walk your weed walk today?  Will you remember the ways of our tiny little Grass Roots Ministry?  Will you bend over and eat a life giving weed?
